West Coast Paws Dog Rescue (WCP) is a non-profit organization founded in 2022 by two friends with a shared passion for dog rescue. The goal of WCP is to find adopters on the West Coast of Canada for dogs who are in desperate need of loving homes. Currently, we adopt from Mexico to Canada. We are hoping that 2022 brings expansion to WCP so we can bring dogs from all over the world!

WCP is a not-for-profit dog rescue organization based in Vancouver, Canada. Our mission is to find safe and nurturing homes for dogs in need and to provide ample post-adoption support to our adopters. We want to continue to be advocates for the animals to ensure they feel protected and loved. We place a strong emphasis on compassionate care for the animals.

Through education and awareness, we want to create a safe and loving community for our dogs. Being pawrents of rescue-pups ourselves, we also want to provide support and training to help our adopters with their new furry family members.

Join us Saturday, July 6th for a Community Pack Walk to help raise funds for West Coast Paws Dog Rescue. You don't need a dog to join the walk and everybody is welcome!

This is NOT a typical pack walk. There will be no drills or training, just a chance to go for a structured walk with other dog-loving people! ALL dogs and all humans are welcome! All participants will be entered into a raffle. Gift basket winner(s) to be drawn at the end of the walk (so you need to be there to claim the prize)! Scroll down to check out the featured small bussinesses.

Annika will be our featured Photographer! $10 per photo with 50% proceeds going to WCP OR a photo package for $90. Photos will be taken during and after the walk. 📸

📆 Saturday, July 6
⏱️ 10am to 12pm
📍 Gates Park, Port Coquitlam
💸 $15 (with the option to donate more)

There will be West Coast Paws Dog Rescue merchandise available for purchase – all proceeds support West Coast Paws Dog Rescue, a 100% volunteer-run, non-profit organization. A few things to note:

  • Dogs must be leashed at all times! NO retractable leashes please.
  • All tools are welcome as long as they are being used appropriately.
  • The focus will be on NEUTRALITY - which means there will be no on-leash greetings. We will advocate for space for all pups so that everyone is comfortable!
  • Rin or shine! Please dress appropriately.
this will be on a public trail, so we may encounter other dogs / animals.
  • A waiver is virtually signed when you buy a ticket!

1 ticket = 1 raffle entry. If you want MORE RAFFLE ENTRIES, please purchase more tickets! However, you just need 1 ticket per dog (so if 2 of you are walking 1 dog, you just need 1 ticket). If you want to join but DO NOT plan to bring a dog, please buy 1 ticket for yourself!

Tickets can be purchased HERE.
